All people share similar needs.

Like pictured above (Maslow's needs pyramid), if we're embodied (living in, with, a physical body after our birth) then we have need that our body be sustained and nourished somehow.

Even as souls in the afterlife with God we may require different types of sustenance to thrive and perhaps even to continue to live ("manna" in the Bible).

How this all actually happens may vary enormously amongst us (day by day, year to year too).

As a primary example, "breatharians" have much intrigued me. Here's a link to a video of one such individual: https://youtu.be/ORDAis1YH9k

In support of the credence of this, I drank only organic apple juice and a few tinctures for five days before and felt quite okay.

This and many other positive influences have helped me to ingest mostly to solely "health food store" type food, "organic" (no pesticides nor herbicides) fruits and veggies, good breads, lentils and nuts and animal giftings such as goat's milk, grass-fed bovine butter and raw chicken's eggs.

Continuing, we also have emotional needs and self-actualization needs.

Tony Robbins has contributed to my understanding of this by hopping out of a shower one day to jot down what he's called the "Six Human Needs". This is my rendition of them (which are not solely human needs of my discernment from interacting with many animals including insects).

1. "certainty" (safety, surety, security) & variety - somehow we gotta keep what we should, our health, wealth, family and friends; however, we also need to enjoy variety, "the spice of life"; therefore, we have to strike a balance in earning and maintaining the goodness of our lives whilst also enriching and even expanding it with possibly fruitful and genuine fun

2. "love and connection" & "significance" - we gotta feel important like we truly should for our talents and abilities, knowledge, relationships, and skills; perhaps seeming to contrast with this and yet truly not innately "at odds" with this is love (you're welcome to read about the Five Love Languages and the Eight Types of Love from the Ancient Greeks here: For Faith, Family, Friends, and Fruitful Fun

3. growth & contribution - without meaningfully improving ourselves we eventually decline (bodily, noetically (synonymous with mentally and psychically, at a soul and spiritual level)); therefore it's extremely important to grow and contribute like we should, in concert and accord with God (and we should always and ever include Christ in our prayers to (and even with) God)

Each of the above needs may be met positively or attempted to be met negatively yet in ways that have never satisfied such as hoping to feel a satisfying variety and--or certainty / emotional relief with an opioid addiction.

Yes, the consequence of ingesting a drug (or similarly indulging in a different vice) yields some variety yet also causes ill health and--or other suffering(s).

Similarly, eating nachos with cheese containing a bad preservative may be initially gratifying yet not ultimately satisfying nor actually supportive of our health long term.

Continuing, yelling obscenities is not good whereas singing karaoke with friends, even some nice death metal songs (Christopher Lee's album e.g. Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross - Wikipedia), surely may be.

Additionally, an unhealthy obsession with hydrogen bombs is a lesser pursuit compared to striving to help the hippo population of Africa with such as better local vegetation via ingenuity with horticultural methods.

Hopefully by now you "get the gist" and may you never be too in need!
